Alexander Seaver - Head of ATC Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program and Owner
Alex started training Jiu Jitsu after a shoulder injury ended his swimming career. This led him to pursue MMA and boxing, eventually stepping into the cage for one amateur fight in 2011, where he secured a win by first-round Rear Naked Choke. After the fight, Alex shifted focus to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, beginning his training in late 2011 under the Carlson Gracie Team, where he’s been ever since.
Over the years, Alex’s dedication to Jiu Jitsu paid off. He earned his brown belt on February 3rd, 2019, and, after years of hard work, he received his black belt in 2023. Additionally, Alex became an IBJJF No-Gi Pan Ams champion, cementing his place as a top-level competitor in the Jiu Jitsu world.

Michael Arevalo
I met Alex and Dania back in 2018 and have trained under them ever since. I have taught youth jiujitsu classes since 2015 for other gyms and am thankful to have been given the opportunity to continue teaching at ATC.
I’m an active competitor, and I’ve achieved gold medals in both local and IBJJF tournaments as a white, blue, and purple belt. I am newly promoted to brown belt and I am excited to compete in this level. But really one of my greatest achievements is helping our students in the kids class explore their potential, compete confidently, and help them become betster individuals overall…that is what lights the fire to my passion in the sport of jiujitsu.

Travis Hardee
Travis is a 1st Degree Blackbelt who has been under the Carlson Gracie lineage since taking his first Jiu Jitsu class back in 2011. He received his Blackbelt from the late Pedro Vianna in 2019 after only 8 years of training. He is well respected in the competition scene and structures his class based on competition essentials for all ages and belt levels. His approach to training is simple: “Work Hard, Have Fun, and Enjoy Your Journey” which is the motto he emphasizes to his students, and to his family who all are accomplished competitors in grappling as well.
